I have been struggling with my weight since I was 9 years old. I have tried everything from dieting to pills to shots, and nothing seemed to work and keep the weight off. The day my insurance approved me, the whole staff called me to congratulate me. It was so amazing and loving. My surgery was on July 27, 2024, and I was 278 pounds. The surgery was painless, and I had no problems. For the past 11 months, I have followed Dr. Mai’s instructions and have lost 116 pounds, feeling amazing. I am no longer in any pain and off all of my prescriptions.

I have no regrets, and this was the best decision I have ever made in my life. I wish I had done it sooner.
